From Sweet ‘n’ Sour to Sweet ‘n’ Simple!

While cleaning up in the basement, someone chanced upon a cassette tape recording of Victor playing his original Brasilia guitar and singing the first songs the Lord had given him. He had made the recording in the late nineteen eighties in his living room, using a cassette recorder on a radio.

After doing the Sweet ‘N’ Sour albums, there was a desire to do a simple acoustic version of the songs, but nothing was coming together. Then this old cassette recording was discussed.

To preserve this recording, the music was transferred from the cassette to a computer where some of the extraneous noises were removed.

Unlike the recordings on Sweet ‘N’ Sour, which were done by an award-winning producer and accomplished renowned musicians, this recording is very simple. It’s just Victor and his guitar singing the first songs he was given decades ago. Sweet ‘N’ Simple!
