It has been said life begins at seventy. True for Job, and a true breakthrough for me too!

Years ago, I posted some rough audios of my songs on our website, ThePathofTruth.com. I had not been playing and singing for many years until then and ceased to do so thereafter for several years.

Then things began to change on June 8, 2015, upon the removal of years-long difficult circumstances. I found myself feeling free to sing and play the guitar again… such a welcome change. A breakthrough.

In January of 2016, a desire arose to sing and post videos. My son Jonathan began videoing me on my cheapie guitar in his garage. I had to learn to sing, play, memorize words, and perform before a camera. It was a daunting challenge coming all at once. A breakthrough like I say in Take Two

Instinctively, I knew I could learn to sing by hearing my voice played back. I purchased a Zoom recorder, which helped immensely. A breakthrough.

We videoed all my songs in 2016. I thought it was as far as I wanted to go with them. It wasn’t. My ambition and vision grew.

In 2017, I sang to the general public for the first time since the late sixties. Another breakthrough.

In 2018, we began to look for a studio. We found Hummingbird Studios in Calgary, operated by a capable Carey Parder and began recording our first song, I Want You to Know, in June.

I was on my way to the public theatre. God’s doing.
